 What Is A Wood Pellet?
Wood Pellets are made from sawdust and wood chips, compressed under extreme high pressure using no glues or other additives. Pellets are bagged in 40lb bags and stacked 50 bags to make 1 ton. One ton of pellets will stack in 1/2 the space in which it takes for a cord of wood, and have the equivalent heat output as 1-1/2 cord. Wood pellets are considered to have the lowest CO2 emissions thus having the least effect on global warming.
